THE IMPORTANCE of ORDERING by your GALLERY EXPIRATION

99% of E-n-E Photography’s portraits get printed up by a professional lab in the U.S.A. thus normal turnaround for photos takes longer since we are in Italy. In rare rush cases- I can and have order from a professional lab nearby- but the sizing is slightly different and the quality is not the absolute best that E-n-E Photography strives for.    Once you have your Preview Appointment, your proofs go online (password protected) for web viewing by you, family and friends.  You’ll have 3 weeks to place your order before your Gallery Expiration date.  You’ll need to make your Ordering Appointment prior to this date.

WHY IS THERE A GALLERY EXPIRATION DATE?  To receive your photos back in the the 3-6 week time that’s estimated for turnaround- not including the unpredictability of the mail- E-n-E Photo wants to stress the importance of ordering by your Gallery Expiration. This gives you 3 weeks after your portrait session to make decisions on which proofs you’d like to order.   A process I’ll be happy to guide you through at your Ordering Appointment. 

ARE YOU A “CURRENT CLIENT” or “LATE ORDERING CLIENT”?  Everyone starts out as a CURRENT CLIENT- until your  Gallery Expiration.   So long as you order and pay a deposit before the Gallery Expiration- you will have priority as a Current Client. This means your orders get processed first.

Once your Gallery is expired-you are considered a LATE ORDERING CLIENT.  All CURRENT CLIENTS have priority over LATE ORDERING CLIENT’S orders no matter when it’s placed.  The time it takes to get your photographs back depends on when you finally place your order and pay a deposit on it.   On average- Late Ordering Clients get their photographs back approximately in  the same amount of time it takes you to finally place your order plus the shipping time.

 For example- your order is placed six months after your Gallery Expiration- So if you take 6 months to order and pay a deposit- and we know how easily time slips by-  it may take another 6 months to get your order back to you depending on how many Current Clients there are.  It takes nearly that long to get your order ready for printing in the US because all retouching and processing is done solely by Erin at this time.  Please remember Current Clients are E-n-E Photography’s first priority.

Late Ordering Clients are put on a standby list and worked on in between the new Current Clients.     The Late Ordering Client list gets adjusted daily.   The amount of time that has lapsed since your Gallery Expiration determines where you fall on the list.  There is no additional charges incurred for this and we’ll make every effort to get your photos back as quickly as possible.

HOW CAN YOU BECOME A CURRENT CLIENT ONCE YOUR GALLERY EXPIRES?  If you are a Late Ordering Client- you can go back to Current Client status. The fees are as follows:   1-30 days- $25,  31-60 days-$35, 61-180 days-$50, 181 plus-$85  after Gallery Expiration.  This will return you to the Current Client list and first priority status.

ORDER BEFORE YOUR GALLERY EXPIRATION!   E-n-E Photography prides itself on being patient and working with you at creating a budget that works for you.   Regardless of your budget-so long as you make the appointment to place your order before the Gallery Expiration with a deposit-you’ll stay on the Current Client list and your order will be ordered as soon as possible.  After the Gallery Expiration- with communication- your proofs will still be online for viewing- but you will be added to the Late Ordering Client list for the processing of your order.
